use nights lights to help you see your way from the
bedroom to the bathroom.
- Bathroom
Safety
Use
non-skid mats in the bathtub or shower floors,
install grab bars next to the bathtub, shower and
toilet.
- Be
careful of throw rugs
Use throw rugs with rubber, non-skid backing.
Always smooth out any folds in the carpet.
- Stairways
Stairs
should be well lit.
Install easy to grip handrails along the full
length of the stairs.
- Shoes
Wear
sturdy. Well -fitted low heeled shoes with non-slip
soles.
